How to poison children’s minds

With the seeds of absolute stupidity being planted into young minds like this, is it any wonder that ignorance persists from generation to generation? If this isn’t child abuse, then tell me what is. The damage these people are doing to the minds of their children is incalculable, but then what would you expect from people that have damaged minds themselves?

As soon as I heard the phrase “home-schooled Christian chiIdren”, the alarm bells rang. I immediately had an image of an isolationist approach to raising your kids: you’re so afraid of them coming into contact with influences from the outside world and risking their finding out that your fairy tales aren’t true, you effectively remove them from society.

I really can’t imagine what it must be like to be as irrational as these people, and for that, I’m grateful.

Their conduct is truly shameful, and the garbage they’re teaching their children is truly appalling. I’m quite serious when I say that Young Earth Creationism should be listed in the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) as a pathology.
