Spooky Old Bats…

More silliness, this time in the form of a security video which is supposed to show a spooky old woman in an elevator. The apparent tag line is that it’s “freaking out half of Asia”. Yeah, sure, if half of Asia is full of half-wits. Does that make them one quarter as smart as the other half of Asia with all of their wits, which makes… umm… have to get out the Hewlett-Packard for that one. Whoever made the video (isn’t home editing on your laptop a wonderful thing?) was artistic enough to render her movements with the frame-store effect, so that she leaves a nice spooky visual smear behind her as she shuffles off her mortal elevator.

And people go for this crap?

Anyway, here’s what appears to be a confession by the hoaxers. Whether these guys really are the hoaxers, I don’t know, but one thing’s for certain: there ain’t no such thing as ghosties… except of course in analogue terrestrial television transmissions, where multipath reflection results in… oh but that’s for another time.

:)
